Apartmani Kod Boganovića Stara Planina are the ideal base for visiting the Bigar Waterfall, which is only 9 km away. The Church of the Holy Mother of God (Bogorodičina crkva)
The Church of the Holy Mother of God (Bogorodičina crkva) is located in the village of Donja Kamenica near Knjaževac, 16 km from the accommodation. It was built at the end of the 13th century or in the first half of the 14th century, as an endowment of Mihajlo Anđelović. Today, it is popularly known as the "Serbian Notre Dame" due to its unusual appearance for an Orthodox church and its resemblance to the Notre Dame church in Paris, which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and built in the Gothic style.

Knjaževac
Knjaževac, known as the "Serbian Venice" due to its location at the confluence of two Timok rivers, is situated only 29 kilometres from our accommodation. Formerly called Gurgusovac, the town was renamed in 1859 after Prince Miloš Obrenović. Today, it is recognized as one of the most beautiful small towns for living in Serbia. It serves as the main urban centre and is ideal for day trips. Nearby are significant cultural landmarks such as the Homeland Museum and the famous Church of the Holy Mother of God (Bogorodičina crkva) in Donja Kamenica (16 km), popularly dubbed the "Serbian Notre Dame."
